Congregational leader Sr Margaret Mary Birgan held discussions with Producer Mark Waters explaining her reasons for a historical legacy video and the desired outcome.
As an Order celebrating one hundred years of service to the community, yet at the same time unsure about its ability to continue into the future, Sr Margaret Mary desired, for posterity, that significant centenary activities, archival footage, and interviews with the Orders remaining Sisters be told in story form.
After researching their founders, Eileen O’Conner and Fr Edward McGrath, producer Mark Waters wrote a ‘first draft’ script. Working closely with Sr Margaret Mary ensured the story being developed reflected their discussions.
